April S. Ross, PA-C joined the staff of Paragon Skin & Surgery in November 2011 and has been a vital member of the team ever since.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, from Southern Wesleyan University. April went on to complete her Master’s degree in Medicine at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was recognized as the PA Student of the Year for the state of Tennessee. She has been a certified Physician Assistant since 2005.
Before joining Paragon Skin & Surgery, April practiced Family Medicine in Seneca, SC, for seven years. In this role, she managed a wide range of conditions seen in primary care, while developing a strong interest in dermatology. Much of her focus became dedicated to screening and treating skin-related conditions within her patient population. Her transition to Paragon Skin & Surgery marked the fulfillment of her goal to specialize in dermatology and provide expert care to patients at risk for pre-cancers and skin cancers.
Outside of her professional life, April is married and the proud mother of two children, Samuel and Baker. She enjoys spending time with her family and helping care for their family farm.
